Petia Wohed received her BSs and her PhD in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University in 1993 and 2000, respectively. After her graduation she spent one year for post doctoral studies at Université Henri Poincaré in France and paid a number of research visits to the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She became docent in 2010 and holds a position as Associate Professor at the department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. She works in the Information Systems group, SYSLAB. Wohed has published work on quality, reuse and enrichment of conceptual models, methods for transformation of business to process models, analysis of process modelling languages (UML AD, BPMN, BPEL) and open source workflow systems (jBPM, EnhydraShark, OpenWFE). She has been a member of several national and international (EU) projects on information/process modelling and integration. She is cooperating with the business process management groups at Queensland University of Technology and Technical University of Eindhoven. Wohed is and has been a member of several international program committees; among these are the CAiSE and the BPM conferences. She acted as a deputy head of the department for Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University for a period of three years (Jun 2008 – Jul 2011).
Wohed’s current research interests are in the areas of:
- Process models complexity
- Aspect oriented business process management
- Configurable process models and open process repositories for the public sector
